It seems like the ability to communicate across the globe instantly bring out both the best and the worst in people.

One of the reasons I love fantasy & horror is that I just find it fun.

On the other hand, if you really want to scare the hell out me, show me the news - or the rampant craziness on the internet.

I think I pretty much stayed off of both the net and twitter for a couple of days because of this.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11416411083174375873noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6961646669143666701.post-12525651732455473082011-07-25T15:12:27.947+01:002011-07-25T15:12:27.947+01:00I have similar problems every time I read the comm...I have similar problems every time I read the comments section to, well, just about anything news-related. I follow US politics pretty heavily, and I am continually shocked by the ignorance, pettiness, and occasionally just plain evil espoused by trolling loudmouths.

What scares me is that there seem to be so many of them...

I don't know what to do to fix the problem, but sometimes it helps to avoid exposing myself to toxic people. As a result, I tend to go on comment-reading hiatus about every other month.Joehttp://www.josephgarraty.comnoreply@blogger.com
